Edo era. The only known surviving Goto line gold Kogo from this era.

Inscribed in kanji Hei-Hachi-Ro by a junikiku mon and, in Englsh: Captain Dundas from Admiral Count H. Togo Tokyo 1910. [A gift from Gensui (Marshal Admiral) Count Heihachiro Togo (1848-1934) to Royal Navy captain (later Admiral) Charles Hope Dundas (1859-1924)]. Meiji era.
